Special guests of the event included the Maserati GranTurismo S 4.7L Automatic, the Maserati GranTurismo S 4.7L MC Sport line, the Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S 4.7L Automatic and Maserati’s fastest road car, the GranTurismo MC Stradale 4.7L.
This unique event treated valued guests to a series of exercises designed to demonstrate the safety, performance and superior handling aspects of the Maserati vehicles. Exercises included “brake and swerve” designed to simulate a situation that the guest may experience on the road when a vehicle ahead stops suddenly; the “slalom” exercise which involves weaving through cones at a particular speed, demonstrating the agility of the vehicle; and “hot laps”, the last exercise of the day, which allows guests to combine all of the skills learnt from the other two exercises around the racetrack.
Another highlight of the day was the opportunity to fully appreciate what the MC Stradale. Guests were treated to the rare opportunity to be a passenger as it was burned around the famous Sandown Raceway by a professional race car driver.
The Maserati Ultimate Drive Day in Melbourne was one of many events Maserati Australia provide their valued customers the opportunity to partake in and is a favourite on the annual event calendar.
